We are seeking a highly organized, meticulous, and community-centric Hobby Store & Omnichannel Manager to oversee our retail location and digital integration center. In this role, you aren’t just running a cash register; you are the orchestrator of a highly specialized ecosystem. You will command high-volume stock cataloging, lead a dedicated team, maintain rigorous state tax and payroll compliance alignment, and host premier local gaming tournaments. Position Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of retail store management or assistant management experience (specialty collectibles, electronics, or multi-channel retail strongly preferred).
- TCG Market Knowledge: Deep literacy in the trading card game space (Pokémon, etc.), including a thorough understanding of condition matrices, authentication standards, and third-party grading scales (PSA, CGC).
- Technical Prowess: Advanced capability in spreadsheet architecture (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking counts and cost basis. Experienced with e-commerce interfaces (Shopify backend, marketplace APIs).
- Logistical Discipline: Strict attention to detail regarding structural data fields, item numbers, cert numbers, and physical inventory reconciliations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to coach, schedule, and inspire a customer-first retail floor team.
Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a standard retail schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
