Schedule: Night Shift | Full-time

What You Will Do:

Monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
-
Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications and treatment based on patient outcomes.

Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls.
-
Educate the patient and family about the patient's health condition and provides information about community support groups and other resources.
What You Will Need:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
-
Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
-
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
-
Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following:
-
Registered Respiratory Therapist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist is preferred for current incumbents who have been grandfathered into their roles at St. Francis per the collective bargaining agreement in place.

Education:

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Additional Preferences:
- 40/52 weekends of the year | Friday, Saturday, Sundays | 6:30 PM - 7 AM

3 years adult critical care experience. Arterial line and intubation competence preferred.

Must be willing to train in placement of advanced lines (ie arterial, mid-line /PICC) insertions needed
