Position Overview:
We are seeking a candidate that has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural concrete construction; however, we are also willing to train for this role. This position is full time, however students willing to work for the summer season are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment
- Form, pour, and finish concrete according to project specifications
- Assist in the installation and placement of rebar and other reinforcing materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in structural concrete construction preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction principles and techniques
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Positive attitude
