Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our commercial or industrial properties. This role involves managing building systems, supervising maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing property performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge of facilities systems, and a passion for maintaining high-quality environments that meet tenants’ needs and organizational standards. As a key leader in facilities management, you will drive operational excellence and foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, asset histories, and schedules.
- Manage facility projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget while adhering to safety regulations.
- Review schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively and plan repairs or upgrades.
- Monitor compliance with safety standards related to industrial maintenance, electrical work, high voltage systems, and low voltage controls.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, incident reports, and asset management documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement of parts such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Ohmmeters, and other specialized tools needed for system diagnostics and repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience—familiarity with schematics, industrial control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and low/high voltage electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance management and scheduling.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including installation, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
- Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics related to electrical or mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration across teams and vendors.
- Supervising experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $48,070.14 - $100,000.00 per year
