Job Title: Takeout Cashier
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and friendly cashier to join our busy takeout restaurant. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and ensure a smooth ordering process for our customers. This role is vital in creating a positive experience for guests and maintaining the restaurant's reputation for quick and friendly service.
Responsibilities: Greet customers promptly and courteously as they place their orders. Accurately process cash, credit, and mobile payments. Assist customers with menu questions and provide recommendations when needed. Prepare and package takeout orders according to company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and order area. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
