Responsibilities
- Support outdoor activities that promote physical movement, teamwork, and environmental awareness for children of various ages.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to first aid protocols and maintaining vigilant supervision during outdoor sessions.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and cooperative atmosphere.
- Implement age-appropriate educational programs that support early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
- Collaborate with your lead teacher and other team members to plan and execute engaging youth programs, including sports, exploration, and team-building exercises.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, activity logs, and incident reports to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support children with special needs or behavioral challenges by applying inclusive teaching strategies and providing individualized attention when necessary.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills combined with experience working with children in outdoor in physical education settings.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and first aid protocols to respond confidently in emergencies.
- Experience working with children with diverse learning needs..
- Capable of supervising children during activities and ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Camp experience or sports coaching background that enhances your ability to lead outdoor activities energetically.
- Excellent communication skills tailored for working with students, parents, and team members; ability to foster a positive learning environment.
