We are seeking a motivated and responsible School Van Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students, providing a positive experience while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your dedication will help foster a secure environment for children and support our commitment to excellent service.
Duties
- Safely operate school vans and buses, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and special events with punctuality and care.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, mechanical condition, and cleanliness before each route.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, and student attendance as required.
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents during transportation, coordinating with emergency services if needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in van or commercial driving preferred.
- Proven experience in van driving or similar transportation roles involving children or passengers with special needs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Ability to work with children and demonstrate patience, childcare awareness, and excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for working with young passengers.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
