First, Second, and Third Shift Compression Operators assists in the manufacturing of compression molded components involving a variety of processes including powder mixing, pill making, material preparation, and molding operations. Compression Operators perform tasks such as trimming and machine operation to ensure product quality meets customer specifications. Operate compression molding machines to mold and form specified shapes. May be assigned to other areas in the facility as needed to assist in the overall production efforts of the facility. All employees are expected to work as a team, maintain work areas and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations to include 5S requirements.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Position Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to communicate and follow instructions, verbal and in writing.
- Capable of using both hands simultaneously to perform required functions of position.
- Team player with a “team first” mentality.
Aptitudes:
- Ability to read and understand basic measurements and complete product checklists.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations (addition, subtraction).
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and various measuring apparatus to verify quality standards.
- Able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to withstand a variety of operating conditions.
Full-time, benefits eligible
1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) – starting at $17.48/hour
2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) – starting at $18.48/hour
3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) – starting at $19.48/hour
Final candidates will be required to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screen prior to employment.
