SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Physical Therapy Supervisors, provides quality physical therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.
Physical Therapist to work in acute care performing evaluations and treatments. Experience preferred but not required if the applicant has had an acute care rotation during student clinicals. The schedule is to be determined at the time of hire, but will fall between Monday through Friday with hours that extend to 6 p.m. to support our post-surgical volumes for same-day discharge. Will also be on weekend rotation with day off during the week (working 2 weekend days per month). Required to also work 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend (part of the weekend rotation requirement). Expertise in vestibular rehab is a bonus for this position, but not required.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: PT (Physical Therapist), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Physical Therapy
