Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our emergency medicine team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The Advanced Practice Provider will handle a variety of cases, including trauma, acute illnesses, and emergent care conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical care and treatment to patients presenting with acute medical conditions or injuries.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Current PA-C or CRNP medical license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with clinical systems used in emergency settings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Clinical experience is preferred.
