Eagle Creek Academy is a private, non-religious school in Oakland Township (which is between Rochester Hills and Lake Orion, MI). We offer both an elementary school and an early childhood program for children from 1 to 5 years old.
We are searching for two more wonderful teachers to start with us this fall -- one for our elementary school and one for our preschool. Both positions are school-year only. We also run a strong summer program, and all of our teachers have the option to work during the summer (or part of the summer) as well.
The above pay range ($45,000 to $55,000) is for a preschool school-year position. For elementary teachers, the pay range is $55,000 to $65,000.
Our infant rooms hold four children each, and each toddler room is for 8 children. Our preschool groups have from 10 to 12 children. Our elementary classes are very small, with 10 to 18 children. We offer great resources, generous breaks, highly experienced coworkers, and a very peaceful environment.
We are looking for a born teacher who has a sense of how she prefers to teach and a vision for where she wants her students to be.
Most of our staff has been together for many years, and we are eager to add 2 more dedicated professionals.
