Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
- Have (or will soon have) a bachelor's degree or bridge program completion in Speech Language Pathology
- Be able to pass a Level II background checks
- Have reliable transportation
Position Responsibilities:
- Assisting with evaluations & screenings
- Following therapy plans, & submitting therapy notes
- Traveling between community sites (e.g., educational facilities, daycares)
- Maintaining privacy compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and state regulations
- Cleaning therapy area & manipulatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- Consistent availability between semesters
- Comfort with working with a variety of pediatric ages
- Ability to receive constructive feedback respectfully
- Patience & sensitivity for all families & diagnoses
- Reliability for submitting timely notes & hours scheduled
- Willingness to slowly build up their caseload
