OXARC, a regional leader in industrial gas and welding supply distribution, is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join the team at their Boise, ID branch.
If you have at least 2 – 5 years of sales experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license, OXARC wants to hear from you! Experience in the welding or gases industry is preferred but not required.

Requirements:
- 2-5 years’ sales experience.
- 2-5 years’ industry experience preferred.
- Proven track record of accomplishments in closing deals and maintaining relationships.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills; confidently and aggressively seek new business.
- Flexible team-oriented individual.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Decision making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Occasionally be required to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Must be flexible with work hours depending on customer requirements and able to travel.
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Must pass drug screen and background check.
Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Call on prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer / supplier relationship. Solve customer problems/issues. Customer deliveries as required.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by:
- Developing technical presentations for potential customers.
- Maintaining up-to-date awareness of latest products and their applications, company activities, industry trends & government regulations.
- Establish sales goals with Branch Manager and Sales Manager. Manage existing accounts and increase market share according to established goals.
- Assist inside sales force and support staff as related to sales responsibilities.
- Complete required paperwork in a detailed and timely manner.
