Join our dynamic transportation team as a Part-Time or Full-Time Motorcoach Driver with a CDL B license! Duties
- Safely operate motor coaches in accordance with all traffic laws and transportation safety regulations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including providing special needs support when necessary
- Navigate city streets efficiently using GPS and route knowledge while maintaining safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and managers for smooth coordination
- Adhere to all traffic laws, including those related to air brake systems and adverse weather driving conditions
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, vehicle inspections, and passenger counts in compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL B license with passenger endorsement; experience with motor coach, school bus driving, or delivery driving preferred
- Proven knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
- Experience navigating streets safely under various weather conditions
- Knowledge of passenger safety protocols, including assistance for passengers with special needs
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, state transportation laws, and safety standards for commercial drivers
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
