We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacy Access Representative to support patients and care teams by navigating insurance approvals and connecting patients to critical medication assistance resources.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage prior authorizations for high-cost, clinic-administered drugs
- Collaborate with providers and nurses to ensure all documentation is in place
- Investigate insurance benefits and coordinate responses to authorization denials
- Enroll eligible patients in Patient Assistance Programs and track outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Support billing processes by working with finance and patient services teams
- Track and report cost savings related to assistance and free drug programs
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to patients and clinic staff
What You Bring:
- Associate’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally in a clinical environment
