Assembler Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with an established medical device manufacturer seeking an experienced Assembler to join their production team. The Assembler will play a key role in ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient assembly of the company’s products. The ideal Assembler is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to producing products to the highest standard. The Assembler position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Simi Valley, CA.
Assembler Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble Products According to Company’s Production System Standards
- Support Production Lines & Maintain a Clean Work Area
- Identify & Address Non-Conforming Items
- Follow All Company Quality System Requirements
- Meet or Exceed Daily Production & Support Time Standards
- Continuously Seek Ways to Improve Processes & Product Quality
- Collaborate with Management to Solve Problems & Optimize Workflow
- Report Inventory Shortages to Supply Chain Team
- Rework Products & Identify Root Causes
- Perform Duties Independently, Without Direct Supervision
Assembler Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At Least 2 Years of Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Must Be Proficient in English (Both Verbal & Written)
- Be Able to Lift 50 Lbs & Stand for 8 Hours
- Be Capable of Following Written, Verbal & Visual Instructions
- Must be Comfortable Using Handheld & Power Tools
- Have the Ability to Read & Understand Standard Work Instructions
- Basic Computer Skills are a Must
- Have Strong Problem Skills & the Ability to Work Independently & Part of a Team
- Adhere to All Safety Rules & Company Regulations
