American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Oklahoma City, OR, requiring active RN licensure and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Inpatient Pediatric ICU setting at a hospital in Oklahoma City, OK

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

CVICU and NICU experience is preferred

Level 1 trauma experience is required

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Full date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting physiological patient data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating care with physicians and support staff

Communicates care plans and hospital procedures to patients and families, including discharge planning

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility are eligible to extend one time for a maximum of 26 total weeks; a 6-month separation period is required before applying to another contract after reaching the 26-week limit

Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance
