Summary
We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team at Zephyrhills Early Learning Academy. In this pivotal role, you will guide our young learners through a dynamic curriculum that blends STEM and arts education, fostering a love for learning and exploration. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum that integrates STEM concepts with artistic expression.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting social-emotional learning.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's individual learning needs.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide guidance and support for students with special educational needs.
- Create lesson plans that align with educational standards and best practices.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (optional).
- Childhood Development Associate (CDA) (Required)
- 45 DCF hours (required)
- Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting (required).
- Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning (required).
- Knowledge of childhood development principles (required).
- Experience with behavior management strategies (required).
- Familiarity with special education practices (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues (required).
- Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
