Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, product inquiries, and checkout processes
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising efforts
- Support supervising staff during busy periods by overseeing customer flow and ensuring smooth operations
Experience
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred, with a solid understanding of retail math and cashiering procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills in both English and another language (bilingual) are highly valued
- Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies will set you apart
- Knowledge of phone etiquette, customer service best practices, and retail sales transactions is required
- Basic math skills necessary for balancing registers and handling cash accurately
