SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Parts Wholesale Consultant is responsible for supporting wholesale customers by identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct parts to meet their needs. This role involves managing parts inventory, processing wholesale orders efficiently, maintaining positive business relationships, and delivering outstanding customer service. The Parts Wholesale Consultant serves as a key contact for wholesale accounts, ensuring timely order fulfillment, accurate communication, and provide a seamless customer experience.

Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service while striving to exceed wholesale customer expectations.

Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers and responding promptly to inquiries.

Assist wholesale customers in determining correct parts required based on equipment specifications or descriptions of malfunctions.

Present and promote parts and related products to wholesale clients, using product knowledge to drive sales.

Communicate professionally with wholesale accounts regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.

Receive, pick, and prepare wholesale parts orders for delivery or shipment accurately and efficiently.

Support field representatives and delivery drivers by ensuring wholesale orders are ready and properly documented.

Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in accordance with company policy.

Advise customers on part substitutions or modifications when identical replacements are not available.

Keep detailed and accurate records of orders, invoices, and customer communications.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts workspace.

Stay current on product updates, pricing, and promotional trends to ensure informed recommendations.

Use dealership systems, equipment, and resources safely and proficiently.

Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Driver’s License.

Strong knowledge of automotive or equipment parts and their related systems.

Ability to anticipate and understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to read and interpret part diagrams, catalogs, and technical documents.

Proficient in using parts management and inventory software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Parts Wholesale Consultant performs duties in both office and warehouse settings. The office environment is typically climate-controlled and involves regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. The warehouse area may expose the employee to varying temperatures, dust, dirt, grease, oil, fumes, noise, and other elements associated with automotive and mechanical environments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday from 7am to 6pm. Must be able to work 8 hours a day and will be given a regular day off.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an automotive or equipment parts center.

Experience in wholesale or business-to-business parts sales preferred.

High School Diploma or GED - additional on-the-job training is usually necessary.
