Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Nissan vehicles, including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and interpret wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues across various vehicle systems.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations with precision.
- Repair and replace vehicle components using hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Diagnose complex automotive electrical problems and interpret schematics to resolve wiring or electronic system faults.
- Execute vehicle suspension system repairs, alignments, and transmission system repairs to restore optimal vehicle performance.
- Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with a strong background in Nissan or similar brands.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical wiring, suspension, and transmission.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake work, wheel alignments, and system repairs.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes and service documentation to ensure accurate reporting of repairs.
- Knowledge of GM vehicles is a plus but not required; a broad understanding of different vehicle makes enhances versatility.
