Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Handle cashing out customers, ensuring proper cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper food handling and food preparation procedures.
- Assist in food service tasks such as serving snacks or light food items while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Support food industry best practices by managing food safety protocols and adhering to health regulations.
- Utilize time management skills to ensure timely drink preparation during busy hours while maintaining quality.
- Engage in café operations including serving customers efficiently and supporting team members as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions.
- Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with guests.
- Barista experience or coffee knowledge to craft high-quality beverages consistently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Background in food service or café environments is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash register operation and sales calculations.
