Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety standards
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support host/hostess responsibilities when needed by managing reservations and guest seating
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills
