Duties
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble, alter, or repair garments according to specifications
- Interpret design patterns and technical drawings to ensure accurate garment construction
- Perform quality checks throughout the sewing process to maintain consistency and excellence
- Assist in fabric cutting, pinning, and fitting to ensure proper fit and finish of finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards in the manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while upholding quality standards
- Support warehouse processes by managing inventory of fabrics, notions, and finished garments
Qualifications
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques
- Proficiency with sewing machines and related tools used in manufacturing settings
- Strong understanding of sewing patterns, measurements, and fabric types
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus for managing materials efficiently
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and repetitive tasks throughout shifts
