Mastermind Room Escape has been open since June 2015 and has been growing rapidly. We are proud to have the highest rating on Trip Advisor for escape rooms in the St. Louis area. Mastermind Room Escape is an awesome one-hour indoor activity that participants love. We designed our puzzles for intense cooperation to inspire people to work together, which is especially helpful for bonding families, friends, teams, co-workers, and even complete strangers.
We take fun seriously. You'll spend your working hours helping people have fun in an upbeat atmosphere. As long as you are able to bring a cheerful and charming personality to each and every guest interaction, the rest of your responsibilities will be easy (scheduling guests, reviewing the basics of the game, ensuring the facility is clean, etc.). As of right now, our schedule needing to be filled is Friday-Saturday(11-11).
Defining the Role/Goal
Customer groups come in for an hour, work together to solve the challenge in one of the rooms and -- assuming you've done your job properly -- leave happy and excited. During that time you may act as a host, storyteller, advisor, and problem solver. You will interact directly with the players to deliver entertaining and memorable experiences. We are looking for quick learners with strong attention to detail, but most importantly, applicants should have a knack for hospitality, charm, and customer service.
- Welcome customers and brief customers before the start of the games.
- Answer phone calls and book appointments.
- Fulfill game master duties by providing hints to the players during the game as required.
- Reset the game after a group exits.
Requirements
- Be confident in introducing the game setting and reviewing the rules with a small group.
- Have a charming personality.
- Have a clean appearance.
- Be willing to work on holidays and weekends. (Closed on Christmas)
- Have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills to handle phone and e-mail inquiries.
- Be energetic and have an outgoing personality.
- Be extremely dependable with reliable transportation.
- Have flexibility in scheduling.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Be able to work independently as well as within the team.
- Have basic computer skills.
