Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in.
- Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, including Toast POS, to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times.
- Coordinate table assignments and seating arrangements to maximize operational efficiency while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist guests with menu questions or special requests, ensuring clear communication between front-of-house staff and kitchen teams.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring all reservation logs and guest information are accurately recorded.
- Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during guest interactions.
- Assist with Club Lounge Attendant, Server Assistant and Mobile Dining duties as needed.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong verbal and listening skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Natural warmth and comfort interacting with people from all backgrounds
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills
