Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment, tools, floors, walls, and other surfaces in the facility.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for cleaning, ensuring proper operation afterward.
- Follow sanitation procedures and schedules to meet USDA, HACCP, and company guidelines.
- Use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Comply with all safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
Attention to detail- Ability to thoroughly clean and inspect equipment and work areas to meet strict cleanliness standards.
Physical Requirements
Able to work in cold, wet, and humid environments.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
