PODIATRY ASSISTANT

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable healthcare professional to join our growing team as a Podiatry Assistant.
Whether your background is as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), EMT, or another direct patient care role, we are looking for someone who enjoys helping others and is eager to continue learning.
What You'll Do
As a Podiatry Assistant, you'll work directly alongside the physician and healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities may include:
- Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.
- Preparing patients for examination and treatment.
- Assisting with office-based procedures.
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms.
- Performing point-of-care testing and diagnostic studies after training.
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards.
- Documenting patient information within our electronic medical record.
- Assisting with patient education.
- Helping create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have previous education or work experience involving direct patient care, such as:
- Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Patient Care Technician (PCT)
- EMT
- Military Medical Specialist
- Medical Corpsman
- Other healthcare positions involving patient care
Experience should include skills such as:
- Obtaining vital signs
- Patient interaction
- Infection control
- Medical documentation
- Clinical assisting
Medical Assistant certification is welcome but is NOT required.
