Executive Caregiver
High-Level Support for an Active Business Professional with a Spinal Cord Injury
I am a highly active business professional, advocate, community leader, and quadriplegic seeking an exceptional caregiver who can serve as both a caregiver and trusted right-hand assistant.
This is not a traditional caregiving position. I am looking for someone who is proactive, organized, energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of helping me maintain an active personal and professional lifestyle. The ideal candidate understands how to anticipate needs, take initiative, solve problems, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Because I remain actively involved in business meetings, presentations, networking events, advocacy work, and community activities, professionalism, presentation, and reliability are essential.
About Me
I am a C3-C6 quadriplegic who lives a full and active life. My schedule often includes business meetings, appointments, professional events, advocacy work, social activities, and community involvement.
I need a dependable team member who can help me stay organized, productive, and presentable while supporting my daily care needs.
Preferred Experience
Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience working with:
- Quadriplegic individuals
- Paraplegic individuals
- Total-assist clients
- Individuals with spinal cord injuries
- Clients with significant mobility limitations
Experience with the following is highly preferred:
- Hoyer lift transfers
- Manual transfers
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Catheter care and management
- Bed positioning and pressure relief
- Range of motion exercises
- Feeding assistance
- Wheelchair assistance
- Hair styling and grooming
- Basic makeup application
- Assisting clients with professional appearance and presentation
- Juggling multiple tasks and requests at once
Responsibilities
Personal Care
- Assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Catheter care and management
- Range of motion stretching
- Meal assistance and hydration
- Repositioning and comfort management
Personal Presentation
- Hair styling and maintenance
- Basic makeup application
- Wardrobe coordination and dressing assistance
- Ensuring professional appearance for meetings, presentations, events, and appointments
- Attention to detail regarding overall presentation and personal image
Household Support
- Meal planning and preparation
- Cooking healthy and nutritious meals
- Grocery shopping as needed
- Laundry and linen changes
- Dishes and kitchen upkeep
- Light housekeeping
- Household organization
- Maintaining supplies and inventory
Personal Assistant Duties
- Accompanying me to appointments, meetings, events, and community activities
- Assisting with scheduling and coordination
- Running errands
- Helping manage daily priorities and tasks
- Assisting with travel preparation when needed
- Providing support throughout the day as priorities change
- Helping maintain an organized and productive environment

Schedule
Part-time position with the potential for additional hours.
Current Schedule:
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Monday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Split Shift)
- Tuesday: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Additional hours may become available to cover appointments, events, vacations, caregiver call-offs, and special projects.
Candidates must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work within a flexible environment when schedules occasionally change.
