Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead <PERSON> to join our construction team, bringing expertise in various facets of building and renovation projects. As a Lead <PERSON>, you will be at the forefront of managing and executing complex construction tasks, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project site. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, and restoration projects.
- Oversee the installation of rebar, framing (including metal stud framing and wood framing), drywall, trim carpentry, and plastering to ensure precision and adherence to schematics.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate efficient construction activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately.
- Coordinate with project managers to plan daily tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress for timely completion.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes; conduct regular safety inspections on-site.
- Manage subcontractors and team members effectively while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with strong knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, and remodeling.
- Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and working with various construction materials.
- Excellent blueprint reading abilities along with familiarity with schematics for diverse construction projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in carpentry disciplines including framing (metal stud framing), trim carpentry, woodworking, plastering, roofing, siding installation, and restoration work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of construction work.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction site experience; committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or project stakeholders; leadership qualities that motivate teams toward excellence.
