Dental Receptionist/EDDA
Our dynamic private practice seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Receptionist/EDDA for a full and/or part time position.
This position will be at the front desk 3 days per week and as an EDDA 1 day per week.
Proficiency in dental software and a deep sense of integrity is necessary.
In this rewarding position you will provide excellent care for our patients via telephone, text messaging, email and in person. It is necessary that you have a heart to serve our patients well.
Monday- Thursday schedule.

Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and manage calendar appointments using Google Workspace or similar tools
- Handle phone reception with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear information and directing calls efficiently
- Perform data entry, maintain accurate patient records, and update electronic health records with precision
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, proofreading documents, and managing office correspondence
- Support bookkeeping activities including QuickBooks data entry and basic bookkeeping duties
- Manage office supplies inventory, organize files, and ensure the office environment remains tidy and efficient
- Provide customer support by addressing patient inquiries promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality
- Use Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel for document creation, reports, and correspondence
- Support personal assistant tasks like calendar management and appointment reminders for staff members
Experience
- Proven office management or administrative experience in a healthcare or dental setting preferred
- Strong clerical background with experience in front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and client communication
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software such as QuickBooks
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish or other languages) is highly desirable to serve our diverse patient base effectively
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in customer service roles with a focus on phone reception and client communication
- Knowledge of office management procedures including filing systems, proofreading documents, and calendar management
