We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead and elevate our facility’s custodial and maintenance operations. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning and custodial programs aligned with industry best practices and safety standards.
- Supervise and mentor environmental services staff, including janitorial teams, laundry personnel, and housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage daily operations to ensure all areas are maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene across all facilities.
- Coordinate with hotel or hospitality management teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences through superior housekeeping management.
- Oversee vendor relationships for commercial cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and laundry services to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness standards, address deficiencies promptly, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead training initiatives on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations to uphold operational excellence.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial management or hospitality housekeeping leadership within hotel or commercial settings.
- Strong supervising experience with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Expertise in janitorial services, laundry operations, and commercial cleaning techniques.
- Demonstrated management skills with the ability to develop schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to engage staff at all levels.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment handling, and facility maintenance.

Pay: $55,623.62 - $75,578.98 per year
