We are looking for a Lead that can learn and grow within Macrina. Someone that would be a good fit in our cafes is positive, respectful, team orientated, hardworking and supports their manager. To be successful at Macrina you must be able to hold your team accountable and make decisions that are based on our core values.
Lead Responsibilities:
- Open and close shifts during the work week
- Banking during the week
- Running the floor
- Customers acknowledged and helped right away.
- Employee breaks on time
- Delegating tasks
- Health code policies are followed.
- Ordering
- Handle customer situations and issues with care.
- Ability to communicate in a respectful way with managers and crew.
- Ability to help cover at other café locations when needed.
- Receives and gives feedback respectfully.
- Able to hold themselves and crew accountable to Macrina policies.
- Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure when busy.
- Ability to train new hires and employees’ growth within Macrina.
Other responsibilities:
- Give great customer service.
- Upbeat and fun for crew and customers.
- Prepare food and drinks for customers.
- Describe our products in detail to customers and employees.
- Ensures a clean work environment for crew and customers including bathrooms throughout the shift.
- Ensure stations are well stocked before and during the rushes.
- Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift on a regular basis.
- Ensures health code policies are followed and checked throughout the shift.
- Ensures equipment is working and in good condition.
- Helps stock, order supplies.
- Performs other related tasks to ensure the success of the team daily.
