Company Background:
Linden Warehouse has been providing premier 3PL, storage, liquid packaging (automated drumming line) and distribution services for over 45 years from our warehouse facilities in Linden and Edison, NJ. We also provide property management services for third party warehouses operating out of our buildings.
Job Duties: The primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Perform routine inspections to identify warehouse and property maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment, doors, lighting, and building systems for Linden Warehouse and its third party tenants.
- Identify and report major repairs or safety concerns to management
- Identify contractors and manage quotations for HVAC repair, paving, concrete, roofing services, snow plowing and landscaping.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
- Knowledge of constructions and general commercial maintenance
- Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, stand, walk, bend and move heavy objects
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 hour for lunch). Requires on site work (WFH not available).
