Pivot Technology School is seeking a highly motivated and student-focused Student Success Coordinator to support participant engagement, retention, and successful completion across our workforce training programs, including SNAP Employment & Training (E&T) initiatives.
The Student Success Coordinator serves as a key support resource for students throughout their training journey and is primarily responsible for minimizing attrition, improving participant persistence, and ensuring students feel supported, engaged, and connected throughout the program experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Join virtual classes regularly to support nightly attendance tracking and participant engagement.
- Conduct weekly outreach and check-ins with students to encourage motivation, accountability, and continued participation.
- Proactively identify participants at risk of withdrawal and work collaboratively to provide solutions, support, and alternative completion options before withdrawal occurs.
- Serve as a positive support system and escalation resource for students experiencing barriers related to attendance, technology, personal challenges, or engagement.
- Track and report weekly student statistics, attendance trends, retention metrics, and participant engagement updates for all active programs.
- Develop and implement proactive retention strategies and process improvements designed to reduce attrition and improve course completion outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Admissions, Case Management, Workforce Development, and Instructional teams to support student success initiatives and participant follow-up efforts.
- Participate in weekly staff huddles and operational meetings to discuss student progress, barriers, escalations, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Assist with graduation preparation activities, including student communications, graduation coordination, and completion tracking.
- Manage certificate preparation and distribution processes for graduating students.
- Coordinate student swag shipments and participant recognition activities.
- Oversee interns and assist with assigning tasks, monitoring engagement, and supporting professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate participant communication notes, follow-up documentation, and internal tracking systems.
- Support employment readiness and participant engagement activities by encouraging consistent communication with Career Services and workforce support staff.
- Assist with student satisfaction initiatives, participant feedback collection, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and student engagement skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable engaging with students consistently through phone, email, text, and virtual platforms.
- Ability to problem-solve, encourage accountability, and support students through barriers to completion.
- Experience working in education, workforce development, student services, case management, coaching, or related fields preferred.
- Comfortable working flexible hours based on course schedules, including some evening support as needed.
- Experience using spreadsheets, reporting systems, CRMs, or student management systems preferred.
- Passion for supporting underserved and nontraditional learners pursuing career advancement opportunities.

Pay: $54,015.25 - $65,050.63 per year
