We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our practice. We are a private single doctor practice with a great team.
All hygiene appointments are scheduled for 1 hour.
Hours:
Monday/month 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. (open 1/month)
Tuesday - 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Wednesday - 7:00 A. M. - 4:00 P. M.
Thursday - 8:00 A. M. - 5:00 P. M.
Looking for 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take dental x-rays and other diagnostic images
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate preventive and therapeutic dental care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health instructions
- Administer nitrous oxide to patients as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical coding and HIPAA regulations
- Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean dental environment
Qualifications:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
- Understanding of aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection in the dental office
- Familiarity with medical coding systems for accurate billing and insurance claims
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
