American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level III Trauma Center in Florence, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER or critical care experience and an AL or compact RN license.

Work in a 37-bed Emergency Department, including 4 Trauma Bays, 7 Fast Track Rooms, and 26 general beds

Level III Trauma Center treating all patient populations from pediatric to geriatric
-
Patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4

Day/evening shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Every other weekend required

Float to the Overflow unit may be required

EMR: MediTech
-
13-week contract
-
Active AL or compact RN license required
-
Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of ER or critical care experience required

Weekly orientation sessions are held on Mondays

Royal blue scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
