Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience and current certification. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working chairside with a variety of procedures, and passionate about patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize/organize instruments before and after procedures
- Assist the dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and procedures
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate temporary crowns as needed
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and chart treatment notes
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection-control protocols
- Support front-desk staff with scheduling and patient flow when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Current Dental Assistant certification/license as required by Massachusetts
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- X-ray certification (radiography license, where required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Schedule Full-time, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 8am to 2pm
