American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist for a trauma center setting, open to first-time travelers with Epic experience and Iowa state licensure.

Outpatient therapy setting within a trauma center hospital

Patient population consists of adults aged 55 and older
-
Orientation occurs on Mondays

Epic EMR experience required
-
Any level of previous experience accepted

Active Iowa state license required (license required if applicable)

Current BLS certification (AHA) required

Child and Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter certification required

Epic EMR experience required

Valid driver's license required

Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission required

One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within 2 years of employment or contract required

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Candidates must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months

Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)

Limited to 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 regardless of holidays worked
