Position Summary: Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Store Shoes and Accessories Processor sorts and prices donated shoes and accessories. You'll need a good eye for quality and some knowledge of shoe and purse brands. This is an important role in our retail stores and is eligible for healthy incentive pay based on the sales of the shoes and accessories you process.
Position Duties:
Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Store Shoes and Accessories Processor sorts and prices donated shoes and accessories.
1. Sort donated shoes and accessories by quality.
2. Price donated shoes and accessories for placement on the sales floor.
3. As needed, accurately tag donated shoes and accessories with the correct price stickers, and place items on a cart for transport to the sales floor.
4. Place priced shoes and accessories on the sales floor by category.
5. Remove shoes and accessories from the sales floor as detailed in established guidelines.
6. Other duties, as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: Any combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job.
PREFERRED: N/A.
REQUIRED:
- Excellent listening skills.
- Ability to work with others collaboratively to achieve a shared goal.
- Ability to work within established guidelines.
PREFERRED:
Requires standing and walking and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, and reaching with hands and arms. Requires frequent lifting and moving of light items, up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds. May be required to stand for entire shift.
Requires energetic, team-oriented individual with a positive “can-do” attitude and an ability to understand, accept and work with people who have disabilities and/or other barriers to employment.
Mix of donation, production, and retail environments. Usually fast-paced.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and values that reflect the organization’s mission and values. Maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and appearance at all times. Must be 16 years of age or older. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, extended hours and holidays. Must pass a background check.
