For over 14 years, Bay/MPS has been providing Automotive OEM’s and Tier I in the Detroit metropolitan area with Supplier Quality inspection, reworking of parts and engineering services.
Bay/MPS is seeking enthusiastic and hard-working Supervisors to join our growing team of quality professionals. The Supervisor positions are ideal for knowledgeable and energetic people who have a passion for efficiency, quality, teamwork and believe in taking care of the customer first.
Job Locations:
Southeast Michigan
(12 hour Night Shifts 6pm - 6am)3-4 days per week
Job Description:
· Responsible for managing site employees.
· Maintain proper manpower and production levels.
· Effectively communicate between sites, departments, and customers for problem resolution.
· Completes all required documentation.
· Initiates and maintains method improvement activities.
Job Responsibilities:
· Communicate with customers for job initiation
· Creation of job instructions
· Verify and help secure correct manpower for work location
· Training of employees to customer requirements
· Maintain efficiency and throughput of team
· Conduct process and part audits daily
· Maintain clean and efficient work area
· Verify all data is correct and send daily reporting to customers
· Keep track of and submit payroll weekly
· Monitor and manage all attendance and tardiness issues
· Administer employee disciplinary actions and maintain employee write ups
Qualification
· Self motivated and results focused
· Prior supervision experience
· Manufacturing/Quality background
· Strong computer experience: Outlook, Excel & Word
