Medical Assistant – Orthopedic Practice
We are seeking an energetic, hardworking, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing orthopedic practice.
Previous orthopedic medical assisting experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate must be eager to learn and willing to train in orthopedic-specific procedures and patient care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Patient intake and rooming
- Obtaining vital signs and medical histories
- Suture and staple removal
- Wound care and bandaging
- Application and removal of casts and splints
- Fitting and application of durable medical equipment (DME)
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
- Answering and returning patient phone calls
- Assisting physicians and clinical staff with patient care and office workflow
The primary work location will be our Largo with occasional coverage at our Palm Harbor office as needed.

Compensation:
Hourly pay is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
