We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our growing manufacturing facility in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is responsible for leading daily production and fabrication operations, ensuring a safe and productive work environment while meeting quality, efficiency, and customer service objectives.

This individual will oversee production workflow, product quality, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, and employee development while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production and fabrication operations to ensure products meet or exceed quality and customer expectations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing all safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Monitor production flow, yields, efficiencies, and operational performance metrics.
- Learn and operate various production equipment as needed to support operations and employee training.
- Safely operate forklifts and ensure proper material handling practices are followed.
- Read and interpret measurements, production specifications, and material requirements to optimize yields and minimize waste.
- Manage inventory activities including cycle counts, inventory accuracy, reorder points, and month-end reconciliations.
- Train, cross-train, coach, and evaluate team members to support operational excellence and workforce development.
- Build and maintain a positive team culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Provide clear direction, delegate responsibilities, and hold employees accountable through effective coaching, performance management, and corrective action when necessary.
- Promote and demonstrate company values, policies, and procedures through leadership and daily interactions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Enforce company employment policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, production, or industrial environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills required
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage employees effectively.
- Ability to learn production processes, equipment operation, and workflow requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently identify issues and implement solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where production priorities and schedules may change frequently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Experience with barcode systems, inventory management, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with team members.
- Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, confidentiality, and dependability.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
