Job Description
New Brighton Personal Care Home is seeking a dependable and compassionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. We are looking for someone who enjoys cooking and takes pride in providing excellent service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve daily meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Properly store food and monitor inventory.
- Work cooperatively with other staff to ensure residents receive quality meals on schedule.
- Comply with all state and facility regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or food service experience is preferred.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred. Candidates without certification must obtain it within 30 days of hire. The company will pay for the certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
