We train on cGMP compliance and packaged food manufacturing. We manufacture liquid vitamins and supplements. Our liquid packaging line is involves filling, capping, coding, shrinking, and labeling. We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and works well in a team environment. We are a third party manufacturer and are consistently working on new products. Starting pay begins at $21 hourly, with bonus opportunities.
Skills and experience in food manufacturing is preferred, but no experience is needed. We package Monday through Friday 8-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Start up and stop equipment
- Work on production line
- Work with various pieces of equipment unsupervised (Subject to change)
- Filler
- Pumps
- Belts/Lines
- Induction Sealer
- Shrinker
- Labeler
- Coder
- Clean production area (sweep, mop, and remove debris)
- Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
- Feed or place items onto equipment for processing
- Ensure conformance to specifications
- Mark parts for identification
- Place equipment on conveyor belt for further processing
- Remove product and machine attachments
- Properly document and verify weights and measurements
- Read and interpret gauges
- Record data
- Load and unload processing equipment
- Take instructions from supervisors
Additional Skills a plus:
- cGMP knowledge
- SOP/FDA/OSHA experience
- Assembly line experience
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for 4 hour periods
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Basic math
- High school education or equivalent
