Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems, and diagnostics. This role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. Excellent customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients and providing them with the best possible experience.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues related to powertrain, electrical systems, and overall vehicle performance.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize automotive diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately and efficiently.
- Align vehicles as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding the clients vehicle needs and repair options.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, powertrain systems, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with ADAS technologies is a plus.
- Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
