Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences through outstanding customer service and hospitality. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using OpenTable or other ordering systems.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, striving for resolution that enhances guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest services.
- Experience in food service or fine dining is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and menu items is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience.
- Team player with a positive attitude who can collaborate well with others in the restaurant setting.
