Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position in a mail order, non-sterile compounding environment located in Grosse Ile, MI. The role is contract-based for 13 weeks with the potential to transition to a direct hire.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking client calls and filling prescription orders accurately
- Assisting with shipping and inventory control tasks
- Collaborating closely with on-site pharmacists
- Engaging regularly in patient-facing interactions to deliver a positive experience, similar to a Patient Service Representative role
The ideal candidate will have a warm and professional demeanor, able to maintain excellent communication during patient conversations to ensure satisfaction and trust.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, particularly with mail order or non-sterile compounding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
