Canby Grove is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals (18+) to join our team for the summer & fall seasons. This is an hourly position that offers up to 30 hours a week. We're looking for people who show up on time, enjoy staying busy, work well with others, and take pride in doing quality work.
This is a part-time position with varying hours. Our busiest days depend on guest reservations, so applicants must have open availability any day of the week, including Sundays. Weekend availability is essential. Our housekeeping team plays an important role in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment where every guest feels cared for.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Strip beds and collect towels, linens, and trash
- Make twin, queen, and bunk beds
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest spaces
- Remove cobwebs and maintain clean, inviting facilities
- Clean and restock public restroom and shower facilities
- Wash, dry, fold, and restock laundry items
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed
- Work together with the housekeeping team to prepare spaces for arriving guests
We're looking for someone who is:
- 18 years of age or older
- Dependable and consistently on time
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team
- Comfortable following established procedures and quality standards
- Willing to learn and use workplace technology, including scheduling, communication, and task management apps
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in a job well done
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work any day of the week, including Sundays
This is an active, in-person position. Applicants should be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Work on their feet for most of each shift
Schedule
- Part-time (up to 30 hours per week)
- Hours vary based on guest occupancy and seasonal programming
- Varied morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be scheduled
- Open availability, including Sundays, is required
