Help Build Great Futures for Central Oregon Youth
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon (BGCCO) is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Development & Stewardship Coordinator to join our Resource Development team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, organizing information, supporting donor relationships, and helping ensure the success of fundraising efforts that directly impact youth across our communities. You'll play an important behind-the-scenes role in securing resources that allow local kids and teens to thrive.
Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and collaborating with program, finance, communications, and community engagement teams, you'll help ensure donors and grant funders experience exceptional stewardship while supporting the reporting and administrative functions that keep our development efforts running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Support Grant Reporting & Funder Stewardship
· Prepare and submit foundation and government grant reports
· Gather program outcomes, participation data, and supporting documentation
· Coordinate financial reporting information with the Finance team
· Maintain reporting calendars, grant files, and compliance documentation
· Track deadlines and ensure reports are completed accurately and on time
· Partner with our contract Grant Writer to support reporting requirements
Help Strengthen Donor Relationships
- Prepare donor acknowledgments and thank-you letters
- Coordinate stewardship mailings and impact communications
- Support donor recognition and appreciation efforts
- Prepare materials for donor meetings and cultivation activities
- Help ensure timely follow-up with donors and community partners
Support Development Operations
- Maintain accurate donor records in our CRM database
- Assist with gift processing and data management
- Support donor reports, fundraising dashboards, and mailing lists
- Help keep development records organized and up to date
- Contribute to special projects and fundraising initiatives
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work with program and finance staff to gather information for grant reporting
- Partner with Marketing & Communications on donor stewardship communications
- Support events and sponsor relationship efforts as needed
- Assist with additional projects that advance BGCCO's mission
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is highly organized, reliable, and excited about supporting a mission-driven organization. This position could be a great fit for someone beginning a career in nonprofit development, fundraising, grants management, or administration.
What You Bring
- Experience in nonprofit administration, fundraising, customer service, office coordination, data management, or a related field is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with databases or CRM systems is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Passion for the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon
